DAVIS88

DAVIS88, originally from Rockingham, North Carolina, is a versatile artist whose musical journey began in his youth, influenced by a wide range of genres—from Country to classic rock. His early exposure to nu-metal and hip-hop in the early 2000s shaped his distinctive style, blending attitude and genre-crossing influences.

After a successful high school sports career, DAVIS88 attended Wingate University, where he discovered his passion for music. Self-taught through YouTube and chord books, he began writing songs and experimenting with multiple instruments, including guitar, piano, and drums, to better communicate his creative vision to studio musicians.

In 2012, he released his debut EP in Wilmington, NC, which provided valuable lessons for his musical evolution. After completing a degree in Psychology, DAVIS88 pursued graduate studies in sports and events management, while continuing to focus on his music. His weekends spent in Nashville led to industry connections and two successful singles that charted in the top 20 on the FMQB national radio charts.

Now splitting time between North Carolina and Nashville, DAVIS88 is preparing for the release of new music in 2026, continuing to push his sound forward while building on his diverse musical influences.

In 2025, DAVIS88 played sets all over North Carolina, delivering both full band performances and acoustic sets, while sharing the stage with renowned acts such as country artist Jason Michael Carroll and hard rock’s Josey Scott of Saliva. As he prepares for the release of new music in 2026, DAVIS88 is poised to offer an exciting year of fresh tracks and dynamic live performances.
